Part of that World

“Open your mouth”
She bares her teeth
“Truly those are the same teeth, the rabbit teeth”
“And the smile, is the same smile”
Shaking my head in approval, again and again
“My shining moon, My sister”
She looks at me
“I missed you so much”
Sudden blow shocks my body
She hugs me
I’m standing still, my eyes are wide open
I would never have imagined…
…this was not meant to happen,
…and the stars haven’t spokenĀ

about that someone who would do such a thing for me,
give up the thing that my life without it was on the edge of a bottomless pit
A pit without an end, without a beginning, a place without a love, a missing love who was owned by me
Eventually cuddling her, closing my eyes
Protecting her from the cold of the night
The furry creature.
